So….this is my very first time to do a blog! And the first thing that came into my mind is – FOOD.
Recently, I’ve been trying out different dishes from WOK with me, Dapitan. Since I study at UST and live at Lacson ave., Its the nearest, safest, and tastiest place to have lunch/ dinner. Prices are kind of expensive for a normal student but I guarantee you that its worth it.
These are the dishes that I’ve tried this week:
Fish tausi with tofu – 80 php
I’m really a fish and veggie lover! So this choice is great for people like me. The fish is well cooked and savory. The tofu with the stir-fried veggie side dish is also a good combination. What I don’t like is that its too salty for me. But nonetheless, I really enjoyed it! And its really A LOT for your growling tummy!
Tori Kowayaki – 100 php
What I like about this dish is the tenderness of the chicken balls glazed with sweet-salty kind of sauce. Again, Its a bit too salty for me too. If you prefer a less salty alternative dish, I suggest you try Oyako don, its one of the Donburi bowls and also one of my favorites! and its only 85 php. 🙂
If you ask me my ultimate favorite, its Ten don from the donburi bowls. Ten don has battered shrimps and egg with rice and ten don sauce, and some veggies as a side dish. Its a complete meal for me and its better than Tempura, also more affordable for only 85 php! Too bad I don’t have a picture, Will post when I get to eat it again! I’ve ordered it like 5 times?
And if you ask me how I discovered this place, It was introduced to me by my boyfriend 🙂 I’m not really the person who goes out all the time to eat food outside since I live in a condominium and I always have food in the fridge. And I’m really thankful to him for showing me this place, my mom loved it too!
WOK with me dishes I’ve tried before:
Seafood salpicao, Buddha’s Feast, Korean Chicken BBQ, Gyu don, and their famous crepes! All are good 🙂 Try them one by one! 😛
So that’s all for today! I better study for my Physiology 1st Shifting exam tomorrow!
